Elena MacDonald, Director
Ms. MacDonald has directed choirs, music ensembles, and musical theatre performances for over 20 years. In her youth she performed in show and competition choirs, in addition to studying music and the piano. She gets rave reviews from her students because of her enthusiasm for teaching, her down to earth explanations of the intricacies of voice performance, and her ability to create self confidence in those she coaches. |
Performance Dates
Middle School Show Choir will have two concerts to culminate what they have learned. Mark your calendar for the following: Tuesday, March 18th - Middle School Show Choir Concert Call Time 4:30pm - Performance time 5:00pm Masuda Middle School 17415 Los Jardines W, Fountain Valley CA 92708 Friday, March 21st - Surf City Festival Call Time 4:30pm - Performance time 5:00pm Edison High School 21400 Magnolia Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92646 Concert Attire For the Show Choir Concerts, Tuesday, March 18th & Friday, March 21st, students will wear the concert best! Black button up dress shirt and green satin ties (both provided for concert use only), black slacks and black shoes for the boys. Girls will wear green show choir swing dresses (provided for concert use only), and black ballet flats. 
Dori Rakhshani, Choreographer
Miss Dori Rakhshani is 23 years old, and she loves performing arts! She is currently in the CSULB credential program, gaining her Single Subject credential to teach English! She has been a tap and musical teacher for Dance 4 Joy Ministries, Edison High School Choir and musical theater programs, and she has choreographed for the Sowers Middle School Show Choir. Currently, Dori teaches Beginning/Intermediate Jazz at Dance 4 Joy ministries and choreographs for Edison High school Show choir. |
